It was originally scanned
by Felicia, Tomo no Miko, from her copy of the second Fushigi Yuugi artbook,
and remains her property.

The
Blue Rose
In
a faraway land, a certain High Priestess is preparing to leave the priesthood
and take a husband... but who will she choose?
A
Fushigi Yuugi Tarot
There
have been attempts before to set the Tarot to Fushigi Yuugi characters,
but I disliked that interpretation. This is my version. Please
remember - the Tarot is very symbolic and always needs interpretation.
Please read it and think before you flame.
Understanding
-
Hard to explain without reading it... but this is my solution to the Tetsuya/Suboshi
argument. It isn't baseless either... ask
me about the evidence...
It also has won the first FYFFLAA, which I'm very proud of.
Before
The Dawn
- After everything is over, someone remembers their first love.
This story...
is just plain weird. You have been warned.
Child
Of Prophecy
- What if one of the prophecies about Suzaku No Miko was actually about
someone else?
More of
a vignette than anything else. I may build more on this story someday.
Dancer
In the Night
- My favourite folktale... FY style.
Be warned
- the Suzaku Seishi are
not the heroes here. Features cameos by
the Byakko Seishi!
The
Love Letter
- Somebody sends Mitsukake an anonymous love letter... and then he drops
it....
A challengefic.
The
Fushigi Yuugi Fanfic Drinking Game
Grab
a bottle of soda, your favourite fic, and see how it rates on the FY Cliche
Scale....
I wrote this to cheer
myself up during a bout of depression.
When
You Say Nothing At All
- After
the end, a certain joyful event is more than what it seems.
Features an appearance
by Blue, of the
One Smart Nyan-Nyan series.
No
Matter What
- A Renhou and
Miiru video-fic.
And I don't even
like
them...

'Defy the Stereotype' is a webclique dedicated
to intelligent, three-dimensional characterization in fanfic, and I'm proud
to host the Fushigi Yuugi branch.
I am a member of the Fushigi Yuugi Fanfiction ML, and I can tell you that I am only one of many talented writers you will find there. Follow the link and join the fun!
As a Houki fan I command
you! You will go to The
Shrine of the Beautiful Phoenix, the home of the Houki Fan Club and
the Houki Mailing List, and you will pay homage to our gracious Empress!
(Hey, anybody who could
survive in a cut-throat harem, stop an Imperial assassination attempt,
rule a kingdom
and win Hotohori's heart should be admired.)
A general page that's
worth more than a passing glance is Tomo No Miko's Fushigi Yuugi Page.
Be sure to visit the Galleries for many rare and beautiful FY images.
She is the original
owner of the Map of the World of the Four Gods featured on this page, which
is presented with her permission.
Hikou is one of the most underappreciated characters in Fushigi Yuugi. However a very nice shrine has been created for him: Transience of a Water-Mirror. Check it out!
Nuriko.net is (naturally enough) devoted to all things Nuriko. If you love the Willow Shichiseishi, you'll want to visit.
Another really good general information site is Fushigi Yuugi.org, so take a look.
I include this one for
the simple reason that it made me blink, caught between the simultaneous
thoughts of "What the..." and "Well, of course!"
The
Knights of the Willow and Star are, obviously, a group who support
Nuriko and Hotohori as a romantic couple. That's not the unusual
thing about the Knights - after all, Hotohori and Nuriko are practically
the
yaoi couple of Fushigi Yuugi. When I wander on the yaoi side of the
fence, it's here I usually play, too.
No, the interesting
thing about the Knights of the Willow and Star is that, unless I miss my
guess entirely, it's run by at least one boy. A male interest in
yaoi is a rare thing indeed, and worth noting.
'Ai wa ai da yo',
for your information, simply means 'Love is love'. Sou da
ne ('That is the truth')!
In an ideal world, this
wouldn't happen....
so many Fushigi Yuugi
sites have gone down since I last updated that almost all the links I had
don't exist any more!
Please be kind and forgive
me while I hunt around for new ones to show you.
(And if you want me
to include your site, please, email me!)
If you have a moment,
perhaps you'd like to read what other people have written in my guestbook?
And maybe you'd like
to sign it yourself?

if you'd like to comment,
criticise or just chat. I promise a reply!
If you would like to
read my fics as I write them (and not as I HTML and upload them), please
join my mailing list.
